The Director of our Racquet & Pool Club is Brandon Feldman. Brandon has been in the area for 7 years, serving as Head Pro at 2 of the major clubs before taking on the operational duties at Buckhorn. Prior to re-entering the club tennis world, he was Director of Athletics and Head Men’s & Women’s Tennis Coach at Oxford College of Emory University (Oxford, GA), where in 10 years his teams won 4 NJCAA National Championships. In 2013, Brandon was elected to the NJCAA Men’s Tennis Hall of Fame. His time at Oxford was preceded by a year as Assistant Coach at Washington College (Chestertown, MD) and 2 years as a teaching professional at Sans Souci Tennis Center (North Miami Beach, FL). Coach Brandon’s teaching experience runs the gamut from “Pee Wees” to seniors, local league teams to NCAA D1 squads, true beginners to ATP players and everything in between. His personal career has taken him from a junior player in South Florida, to a college player at Skidmore College (Saratoga Springs, NY), to a graduate student at the University of Miami – where he had the opportunity to work with both the men’s and women’s squads, before getting involved with college coaching as a full-time endeavor.
Brandon’s knowledge of the game and desire to make everyone feel, not only welcome, but able to improve on the court – coupled with his attention to customer satisfaction – makes him an excellent addition to the Buckhorn Springs Country Club team. Brandon resides in Lithia with his wife, Tiffany, and two children, Davina and Lander. In his time away from the club, he enjoys spending time with his family, singing & playing guitar and learning about technology.
